09:00 AM EST, 11/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lazard ( LAZ ) said Monday it appointed CEO Peter Orszag to also serve as board chairman and board member Dan Schulman as lead independent director, succeeding Richard Parsons, effective Jan. 1, 2025.

The company also said Executive Chairman Kenneth Jacobs will become senior chairman and senior advisor to the board, relinquishing his board seat on Dec. 31.
