The government will bring in a new Bill on cryptocurrency after it get Cabinet nod, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Rajya Sabha. The government is looking at the guidelines for cryptocurrency advertisements. Two members of the Standing Committee on Finance told CNBC-TV18 they want India to regulate cryptocurrencies and not ban them outright.
