07:53 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials ( LEMIF ) over the weekend said its second-quarter comprehensive loss widened due to share based compensation expenses and foreign exchange loss.
The company reported a comprehensive loss of $1.2 million for the three months ended April 30, compared with a loss of $859,529 a year earlier. The loss per diluted share remained stable at $0.01.
The company said it will need additional funding to recommence operations at the Woxna Graphite mine, to develop the Norra Karr project and to complete exploration activities in Romania. Leading Edge Woxna Graphite is "production-ready."
Shares of the company closed down 5.4% to $0.175 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
