Leading Edge Materials Q4 Loss Widens

07:40 AM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials ( LEMIF ) over the weekend said its fourth-quarter net loss widened.

The net loss for the three months ended Oct. 31 rose to $320,029 compared with a net loss of $262,681 from the prior year period. The fourth-quarter loss per share was nil, the same as in the year-ago quarter.

The company said it has sufficient funding for corporate administration and overhead for a year however, it added that it will need additional capital to provide working capital and recommence operations at the Woxna, establish a production facility for the Anode Project, to fund future development of the Norra Karr Property or to complete exploration activities in Romania.

Shares of the company closed down $0.005, or 6%, to $0.085 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
