Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.56.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 28 was $5.58 billion compared with $5.78 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $5.58 billion.

The company trimmed 2024 net revenue guidance to $22.95 billion to $23.150 billion from $23.23 billion to $23.67 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $23.29 billion.

Lear shares fell more than 2% in premarket trading.
