09:28 AM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Leidos Holdings ( LDOS ) reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings Tuesday of $2.29 per diluted share, up from $1.47 per share a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.70.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 29 was $3.98 billion, up from $3.70 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.82 billion.
The company said it now expects fiscal 2024 non-GAAP earnings of $8.40 to $8.80 per share, up from its prior guidance of between $7.50 and $7.90. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $7.85.
Revenue for the current fiscal year is now projected to be between $16 billion and $16.4 billion, up from its previous outlook of $15.7 billion to $16.1 billion, the company said. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $16.02 billion.
The company's shares were up 7% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
