Leidos Holdings Picked by US Air Force to Develop Enterprise Test Vehicles

10:30 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Leidos Holdings ( LDOS ) said Thursday it was chosen by the Air Force Armament Directorate and the Defense Innovation Unit to develop an enterprise test vehicle, or ETV.

The ETV will offer modularity for subsystem upgrades and serve as a cost-effective basis for mass production, the company said.

Initial flight demonstrations are expected within seven months of the award date, the company said.

Other project collaborators include the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Special Operations Command, the Naval Air Systems Command and the US Indo-Pacific Command, Leidos ( LDOS ) said.
