Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.27.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 28 was $4.13 billion, up from $3.84 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $4.06 billion.

The company said it now expects 2024 non-GAAP earnings of $8.60 to $9 per share, up from its previous guidance of $8.40 to $8.80. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $8.82.

Revenue for the year is now projected to be $16.1 billion to $16.4 billion, compared with its previous outlook of $16 billion to $16.4 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $16.25 billion.

The company's shares rose more than 4% in recent Tuesday pre-market activity.
