08:35 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Leidos Holdings ( LDOS ) said Monday it was awarded a contract worth up to $331 million to modernize the US Army's network, in line with the Army's Network Modernization Strategy and Unified Network Plan.

The contract, awarded by the Army Program Executive Office for Command, Control, and Communications-Tactical Global Enterprise Network Modernization-OCONUS, includes a one-year base period and four optional one-year extensions, the company said.

Under the contract, Leidos ( LDOS ) will implement the Army's Global Unified Network at various sites to create a standardized, modern network architecture.
