SAO PAULO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - State-controlled lender

Banco do Brasil reported on Wednesday an 8.2% growth

in its adjusted net profit for the second quarter of 2024 from a

year earlier.

The bank posted adjusted net profit of 9.50 billion reais

($1.69 billion), slightly above expectations from analysts

polled by LSEG of a 9.24 billion real profit.
