08:12 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lennox International ( LII ) has agreed with Samsung to form a joint venture to offer ductless AC and heat pump products in the US and Canada, the companies said Tuesday.

The JV, called Samsung Lennox HVAC North America, will be headquartered in Roanoke, Texas, and is expected to begin operations in H2, with Samsung owning 50.1% and Lennox controlling the remaining stake, the companies said.

The JV will distribute Samsung-branded ductless AC and heat pump products in the US and Canada as well as Lennox powered by Samsung-branded products that will be sold through Lennox stores and direct-to-dealer network.

Lennox and Samsung will appoint the JV's chief executive officer and chief financial officer.
