Leonardo confirms 2024 guidance, despite impact of Boeing crisis
Oct 10, 2024 10:50 PM

ROME, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Leonardo confirms its

guidance for this year, despite Boeing ( BA ) s recent

difficulties are having a negative impact on the Italian defence

and aerospace group, its Chief Executive said on Tuesday.

"The Boeing ( BA ) crisis is impacting on us, but there is little

we can do. Other fundamentals are going well, so there is no

doubt (over the guidance)," CEO Roberto Cingolani told reporters

on the sidelines of the Cybertech Europe conference in Rome.

He added that the state-controlled group had no intention of

further cutting its stake in U.S. Unit DRS, "fundamental

for us as it is our door into the U.S. market".

In November Leonardo had sold a minority stake of just under

7 in DRS, leaving it with a shareholding of 72.3%
