04:19 PM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Leonardo DRS ( DRS ) and KNDS have signed a teaming agreement to offer the Caesar self-propelled howitzer to the US Army.

Leonardo DRS ( DRS ) will act as prime contractor, integrating KNDS's combat-proven artillery platform, which aims to boost range, mobility, and precision for US forces.

The companies said the system draws on experience from Caesar's deployment in Ukraine and is designed for rapid deployment and sustained support.

KNDS, based in Amsterdam, develops land defense systems including tanks, vehicles, and artillery.
