04:18 PM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Leonardo DRS ( DRS ) said late Tuesday that it has received a US Army contract to develop prototype Vehicle Integrated Power Kits that deliver on-demand, exportable power from tactical vehicles to essential field systems.

The prototypes will utilize Leonardo DRS's ( DRS ) TITAN On-Board Vehicle Power system, capable of producing up to 120 kilowatts of electricity directly from a vehicle's drivetrain, the company said.

The system powers high-demand applications such as communications, radar, electronic warfare, and directed energy weapons without external power sources, it added.
