10:11 AM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Leviathan Gold (LVX.V) up 4% on last look, Wednesday said it is planning an airborne survey at its Central Project in Botswana, ahead of a maiden drilling campaign at the property.
Central provides Leviathan with an "unparalleled" opportunity to make a Tier 1 copper discovery in an under-explored mineral belt of world-class significance, a statement said. The company added that the maiden drilling campaign is funded with all of the requisite permits in hand.
Leviathan's initial programs at the Foca Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina are exposing near-surface targets along key fault structures, with induced polarization geophysics planned to pinpoint drillable targets, for which Leviathan is fully permitted.
The company confirms the staged disposal of its Australian assets is expected in the near to mid-term.
Leviathan shares are up $0.03, to $0.74, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
