Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Names Mike Exton CEO, Jeff Wade Operating Chief

09:45 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lexicon Pharmaceuticals ( LXRX ) said Monday it has named Mike Exton as chief executive and Jeff Wade as chief operating officer.

The company said Exton succeeds Lonnel Coats, who has retired.

Exton most recently led the cardiovascular unit at Novartis ( NVS ) , while Wade was Lexicon's chief financial officer, the company added.
