07:55 AM EST, 02/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LG Display ( LPL ) said Monday that it has begun mass-producing a 40-inch automotive display that spans the entire length of a vehicle dashboard.

The company said the display will be installed in Afeela, a brand of electric vehicles manufactured by a joint venture of Sony ( SONY ), (SONY) and Honda ( HMC ) .

LG Display ( LPL ) said the mass production is part of its goal to accelerate its business within the software-defined vehicle sector.
