08:55 AM EDT, 04/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Libero Copper & Gold ( LBCMF ) said Tuesday it will change its name to Copper Giant Resources, effective May 1.

The shares will being trading on the TSXV under the new symbol CGNT. The company, which owns the Mocoa copper-molybdenum deposit in Colombia, said the new name reflects its strategic focus on advancing major copper projects that can help meet the growing global demand for large, sustainable sources of supply.

The company's share price gained 2.2% on Monday to $0.24 on the TSXV.
