Liberty Defense Says Hexwave System Operational at Some Airports

01:13 PM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Defense Holdings ( LDDFF ) , a provider of AI-based detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, said Friday its Hexwave system is now operational at Rochester and Manchester Airports.

The system will screen aviation workers as part of the new TSA Mandate on Employee Screening. Units have also been installed at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

The company has also shipped initial units to support the order from Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to screen staff and visitors that enter correctional facilities.

Hexwave uses millimeter wave, advanced 3D imaging and AI to detect concealed metallic and non-metallic threats and other prohibited items.

Liberty Defense ( LDDFF ) is up $0.005 to $0.09, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
