06:57 AM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) on Thursday reported assay results from drilling at the Black Pine oxide gold project in southeastern Idaho.
Highlights of the results include 0.96 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 24.4 meters, including 1.94 g/t gold over 6.1 meters at Rangefront; 0.83 g/t gold over 21.3 meters, including 1.36 g/t gold over 10.7 meters at M Zone; and 0.62 g/t gold over 19.8 meters at the CD Pit.
The drilling expanded deposit footprints at Rangefront, M Zone and CD Pit. Areas of inferred mineralization show the potential for conversion of the extensive inferred resource into indicated resource for inclusion in a resource update expected in the second half of 2025.
The company expects a significant increase in the indicated ounces in the updated resource estimate, which could result in an increased production rate or mine life extension.
