Liberty Gold to Spin-Out Goldstrike Project to Create New U.S. Strategic Metals Company
Feb 11, 2025 4:37 AM

07:03 AM EST, 02/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) on Tuesday announced plans to spin-out the Goldstrike project in Utah into a separate entity after it discovered a third zone of high-grade antimony mineralization at the project's Antimony Ridge.

Shareholders will hold an interest in both Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) and in "NewCo," a new U.S. strategic metal-focused exploration and development company initially based on the antimony discovery.

Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) will continue to move the Black Pine oxide gold project in Idaho through permitting into production.

Surface samples from the new discovery show significant antimony values of up to +3% antimony and up to 0.68 grams per tonne gold.

New mineral claims totaling 2 square kilometers have been staked, bringing the total claim block area at Antimony Ridge to around 10 square kilometers, 100% owned by Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ), with no royalty burden on any metals.

"This firmly establishes Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ), with its flagship Black Pine Project, as a pure-play developer-producer in Carlin-style, sediment-hosted oxide gold systems and provides all Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) shareholders with exposure to a new minerals direction in 'NewCo'. Of course, 'NewCo' also includes a 1 million ounce oxide gold resource at Goldstrike in addition to the antimony discovery," said Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) Chief Executive Cal Everett.
