04:48 PM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Media (FWONA) said Monday that its MotoGP unit has closed the refinancing and maturity extension of a first lien term loan B, first lien term loan A, and first lien revolving credit facility.
MotoGP is the commercial rights holder of the FIM MotoGP World Championship, Liberty said.
MotoGP refinanced a 975 million euro ($1.14 billion) term loan B maturing in 2029 with a new 800 million euro term loan B maturing in 2032, a 150 million euro term loan A maturing in 2028 with a new $232.5 million term loan A maturing in 2030, and a 100 million euro multi-currency revolving credit maturing in 2028 with a new 100 million euro multi-currency revolving credit facility maturing in 2030, Liberty said.
The net reduction of 125 million euros under the debt facilities was backed with cash from MotoGP, the company said.
