Lifeway Foods Shares Surge After Q2 Earnings, Net Sales Rise

10:45 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lifeway Foods ( LWAY ) shares surged 46% in recent Tuesday trading after the company reported higher Q2 earnings and net sales.

The company reported Q2 earnings of $0.25 per diluted share, up from $0.21 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.20.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 was $49.2 million, compared with $39.2 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $45.5 million.
