08:41 AM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Li-FT Power ( LIFFF ) on Tuesday reported assays from 16 drill holes completed at the BIG East, Echo, Fi Main and BIG North pegmatites within the Yellowknife lithium project in Northwest Territories, Canada.
Highlights include 35 meters at 1.34% lithium oxide at BIG East, the intercept with the best width and highest grades drilled to on the pegmatite to date.
"This hole marks the very most northeast limit of drilling and extends high grade mineralization under the lake from the southwest for a total of 750 meters, to date," said Dave Smithson, senior vice president for geology at Li-FT. "We are very excited to see what happens next as we move our drill rigs up onto the ice and continue testing along the dyke for more high-grade lithium zones hidden by the lake."
Results also include 14 meters at 1.02% lithium oxide at Echo.
The company's share price rose nearly 4% yesterday to $3.35.
