10:32 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Li-FT Power ( LIFFF ) quadrupled its land position at the Cali Project by staking an additional 9,681 hectares of contiguous claims within the Little Nahanni Pegmatite District, the Northwest Territories.
Lands to the northwest of LIFT's current position became available following the Federal Government's approval of an amendment to the Sahtu Land Use Plan in June. The amendment package allows new staking to be completed in the area.
LIFT also reports that Infinity Stone Ventures has requested that the purchase agreement for the Shorty West Lithium mineral claim be terminated. Ownership of the claim, which is adjacent to LIFT's Yellowknife Lithium Project, was transferred to an arm's length private entity. LIFT will now acquire the Shorty West claim for 2,000 common shares from that entity.
LIFT was last seen down $0.09 to $2.56 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
