09:43 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lightbridge ( LTBR ) said Monday it has successfully fabricated coupon samples using enriched uranium-zirconium alloy to develop its Lightbridge Fuel product.

The samples, produced using Lightbridge's ( LTBR ) proprietary fabrication method, will be put into capsules and undergo irradiation testing at Idaho National Laboratory's test reactor, the company said.

The data from irradiation will play a key role in supporting regulatory licensing and commercialization efforts for the deployment of Lightbridge Fuel, which aims to enhance nuclear reactor performance and safety, the company said.

Lightbridge ( LTBR ) shares were 1.7% higher in recent trading.
