08:27 AM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lightspeed Commerce ( LSPD ) and Uber ( UBER ) said Thursday that they have partnered to integrate Uber Direct and Uber Eats marketplace into Lightspeed's platform.

The integration will allow Lightspeed merchants to list their menu offerings on Uber Eats and take orders from the marketplace, the companies said.

Lightspeed merchants would also be able to take orders from their websites and access Uber Direct delivery, the companies added.

Lightspeed shares were 2.3% higher and Uber ( UBER ) shares were up 1% in recent premarket activity.
