LightWave Acquisition Prices $187.5 Million IPO

04:18 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LightWave Acquisition (LWAC) said late Tuesday it priced an initial public offering of 18,750,000 units at $10 apiece.

Each unit comprises one class A share and a half redeemable warrant, with each warrant exercisable at $11.50 per share.

The special purpose acquisition company expects the units to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker LWACU Wednesday, while its class A shares and warrants are expected to trade under the tickers LWAC and LWACW, respectively.

The IPO underwriter has a 45-day overallotment option to buy up to 2.8 million additional units.

LightWave said it expects the offering to close Thursday.
