Lightwave Logic Launches Technical Program Aimed at Co-Packaged Optics Applications

08:49 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lightwave Logic ( LWLG ) said Tuesday it has launched a technical program with a new undisclosed company aimed at co-packaged optics or CPO applications.

The company said the program is designed to demonstrate the usefulness of electro-optic polymers for high volume production in new processes being developed by the semiconductor industry.

The company said it intends to develop a custom variant of its Perkinamine electro-optic polymer material optimized for manufacturing conditions of artificial intelligence scale-up, throughout H1 of 2026.

Additionally, Lightwave Logic ( LWLG ) intends to co-develop with its partner a technical solution optimized for 400Gb/s CPO applications, the company added.

Financial details of the technical program were not disclosed.

Shares of the company were up 2.5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
