Jul 24, 2024 10:57 AM

01:32 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lilium (LILM) said Wednesday it is collaborating with airport operator Groupe ADP to expand the infrastructure network for its electric, vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

Under the partnership, Groupe ADP will make its vertiports accessible to Lilium's customers.

The firm is developing vertiports at two airports in Paris region that would establish the city "as an important regional hub for Lilium Jet operators," Lilium said in a statement.

Lilium added that Groupe ADP's network of international airports around the world would also be "crucial" for operators of the Lilium Jet as regional electric aviation is introduced to passengers starting in 2026.
