10:17 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lilium (LILM) said Monday it is partnering with air mobility operator UrbanLink to operate Lilium Jets in South Florida.

UrbanLink will buy 20 Lilium Jets, with an option for 20 more and scheduled pre-delivery payments, Lilium said.

The service launch for the electric vertical take-off and landing jet is targeted for 2026, the company said.

Financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.

Shares of Lilium were up more than 13% in recent trading.
