Lithium Americas Proposes Common Stock Offering; Shares Fall After Hours

05:44 PM EDT, 04/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lithium Americas ( LAC ) unveiled late Wednesday its plans to offer 55 million common shares.

The company will sell all the shares in the offering.

It expects to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 15% additional shares.

Shares of the company sank more than 19% in after-hours activity.
