Lithium Ionic Rises After Upsizing Non-Brokered Private Placement to $15 Million

01:30 PM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lithium Ionic ( LTHCF ) shares rose 15% at last look on Thursday after it upsized a non-brokered private placement of share units to $15 million from $10 million.

The company said the offering will now consist of up to 21.4-million units at $0.70 apiece. Each unit will be made up of share and a two-year warrant to buy a share for $0.90.

Proceeds will be used for exploration and development of its Brazilian properties and general corporate needs. The first tranche of the offering is scheduled to close on or about September 29.

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.12 at $0.89 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
