06:39 AM EDT, 03/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lithium Royalty Corp. ( LITRF ) , which rose by more than 4% yesterday, overnight Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter 2023 net loss of US$826, or a loss of US$0.02 per share, swinging from a net income of US$3,812, or US$0.08 per share, in the year-ago quarter.

Royalty revenue increased to US$1,013, up 200% from US$337 in the prior-year period. The growth was attributed to increased revenue from Core Lithium Ltd. and from the Sigma Lithium Corp. (SGML.V)-operated Grota do Cirilo project.

"2023 was a milestone year for Lithium Royalty Corp. ( LITRF ) as the company completed the only initial public offering in Canada and acquired 6 royalties following the IPO. A substantial portion of the capital we deployed in 2023 was in advanced projects that are expected to deliver cash flow in 2024," said Lithium Royalty ( LITRF ) CEO Ernie Ortiz.
