Lithium South Development Agrees to Sell Hombre Muerto North Project for US$62 Million

09:17 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lithium South Development ( LISMF ) on Wednesday said it has agreed to sell the Hombre Muerto North Lithium project in Argentina for US$62 million to Posco Holdings, a Korean steel and battery materials producer.

The Hombre Muerto project is adjacent to a large lithium development project run by Posco Argentina that has begun lithium production, a statement said.

The agreement is non-binding and subject to several conditions, including a 60-day due diligence period, followed by a 60-day period for the negotiation and execution of the definitive agreement.
