Live Oak Bancshares Names Michael Cairns as Chief Credit Officer

05:35 PM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Live Oak Bancshares ( LOB ) said Thursday it has appointed Michael J. Cairns as chief credit officer, starting Aug. 1.

Cairns succeeds Steven J. Smits, who will now lead commercial banking including the Specialty and Energy, and Infrastructure teams, the company said.

The new CCO previously served as head of credit at the company, it added.
