10:56 AM EST, 11/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- LoanDepot ( LDI ) and Smith Douglas Homes ( SDHC ) said Monday they established a joint venture called Ridgeland Mortgage to support financing for new home buyers.

The joint venture will operate in Atlanta, Georgia; Houston, Texas; Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama; Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee, the companies said.
