07:23 AM EDT, 06/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Loblaw ( LBLCF ) , a food and pharmacy retailer, on Wednesday reported the opening of its 16th location, a small-format No Frills, in downtown Toronto.

The company said it is on track to open 40 new stores in 2024 and convert dozens more.

Loblaw ( LBLCF ) has recently built and opened nine new stores, and converted seven others to expand the company's hard-discount stores, Maxi and No Frills.
