10:33 AM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of Terran Orbital ( LLAP ) and its Tyvak International unit.

The two parties previously collaborated on projects including Space Development Agency programs and Lockheed Martin's ( LMT ) technology demonstrations, the defense technology company added.

The deal was first announced in August under which Lockheed agreed to acquire Terran Orbital ( LLAP ) for an enterprise value of about $450 million.
