02:52 PM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said Wednesday it participated in the US Space Force VICTUS DIEM exercise, executing a payload processing and launch simulation in partnership with Firefly Aerospace ( FLY ) .

Through this exercise, the companies showcased skills needed to execute tactically responsive space missions in a threatening scenario, according to Lockheed Martin ( LMT ).

The Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) and Firefly teams completed all payload processing in under 12 hours and all launch operations tasks within 36 hours, the company said.
