08:41 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said Wednesday that testing confirmed its C-130J Super Hercules aircraft has a longer wing life than previously expected.

The structural testing of the C-130J's wing components showed the aircraft can now be expected to reach 122,500 Equivalent Flight Hours, compared with the prior estimate of 90,000, according to the company.

The tests, conducted as part of a US and Canadian government-funded program, involved stress simulations on the wings and fuselage, Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said.
