Lockheed Martin to Pay $30 Million to Settle False Claims Act Allegations on F-35 Contracts
Feb 7, 2025 4:12 AM

06:31 AM EST, 02/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) has agreed to pay $29.74 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations that it inflated pricing on F-35 military aircraft contracts by failing to disclose accurate cost data, the Department of Justice said late Thursday.

The settlement is in addition to the $11.3 million the company previously repaid to the Department of Defense for related violations.

Between 2013 and 2015, Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) allegedly withheld supplier cost data from the F-35 Joint Program Office in violation of the Truth in Negotiations Act.

Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
