Lockheed Martin Wins $113 Million Contract for Japan, Sells Helicopters for Greece

01:51 PM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) won a $113 million Naval Sea Systems Command contract for the sale of Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program systems to Japan.

The purchase for Japan is the first international sale of the shipboard electronic warfare system, Lockheed said Tuesday in a statement. The contract combines purchases for the US Navy and Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program.

Separately, Lockheed's Sikorsky unit won a foreign military sale contract from the US government to provide Greece with 35 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.

Personnel training, training equipment and an initial provisioning package are included in the accord, Lockheed said Tuesday.
