05:31 AM EDT, 04/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said Friday that it won an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with a maximum value of $4.1 billion, from the US Missile Defense Agency.
The contract covers upgrading the agency's Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications system with the latest security technology to improve coordinated responses to emerging threats, said the company. Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) said the contract's ordering period is from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2029 and it expects to perform contract work from facilities in Alabama and Colorado.
The contract has an option to extend through April 30, 2034.
