Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky Gets $10.9 Billion US Navy Helicopter Contract
Sep 29, 2025 4:12 AM

06:53 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin's ( LMT ) Sikorsky subsidiary received a five-year, $10.9 billion contract from the US Navy to build up to 99 CH-53K King Stallion helicopters.

Sikorsky will deliver the heavy-transport helicopters between 2029 and 2034 to the US government for use in the Marine Corps or to fulfill orders from international military customers, Lockheed said in a statement Friday.

The company said that the contract consolidates five separate orders into a five-year multi-year procurement, allowing more price predictability and consistent flow of materials from 267 CH-53K suppliers.

Sikorsky has delivered 20 of the helicopters so far to the Marine Corps, and another 63 are in production and assembly, the company said.
