07:21 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lomiko Metals ( LMRMF ) said Tuesday that it identified a new gold showing from the recently completed phase-two soil sampling and prospecting program on the Yellow Fox antimony-silver-gold property in Newfoundland.
The company said assays from the new gold showing reached up to 1.3 grams per tonne. Soil sampling program targeted stratigraphy south of the Yellow Fox showing, which yielded 59.413 g/t gold and areas of increased density of interpreted structures.
"This gold anomaly, now identified to be almost a one-kilometer-long, may extend south, and this is where we will focus with more soil sampling in phase three," president, chief executive officer and director Gordana Slepcev said.
"The focus now will be to strip and trench this new showing to determine its extent and collect rock samples," Slepcev added.
Lomiko acquired the property under an option agreement with Metals Creek Resources ( MCREF ) .
