Feb 13 (Reuters) - Lowe's is eliminating about

600 corporate ​and support roles, ‌representing less than ⁠1% of

the North ⁠Carolina-based retailer's ‌total ‌workforce, the Wall

Street Journal ​reported ‌on Friday.

Peer Home Depot ( HD ) said ​in late ​January ‌it was cutting

800 jobs associated with ⁠its Atlanta store ⁠support center, and

called on its corporate ⁠employees ‌to return to ‌the office ⁠five

days a week.

Lowe's did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for

comment.
