05:18 PM EDT, 03/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lucara Diamond ( LUCRF ) after trade Monday said it recovered a "stunning" 36.92-carat blue diamond from its Karowe Diamond Mine in Botswana.

The diamond is classified as a high-quality blue Type IIB diamond and was recovered using X-ray transmission technology from ore sourced from stockpile material at the mine, the company said, adding that so far this year, it has also recovered five stones larger than 100 carats while processing the stockpile material.

"Lucara is delighted to announce the recovery of this stunning blue, high-quality diamond from the Karowe Mine, which again reinforces the special nature of this asset," Chief Executive William Lamb said.
