03:42 AM EDT, 04/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lucid (LCID) said Friday it has agreed to acquire a number Arizona facilities and assets previously belonging to Nikola, subject to US bankruptcy court approval following an April 10.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Lucid said it will take over a Nikola manufacturing facility and the Phoenix facility previously used as the bankrupt company's headquarters and product development center, adding more than 884,000 square feet to the company's Arizona footprint.

The company also said it plans to offer jobs in Arizona to more than 300 former Nikola employees.

The acquisitions do not include Nikola's business, customer base, or technology related to its hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks, the company said.
