Analysts polled by FactSet expected $4.78.
Revenue in the quarter ended Feb. 1 rose to $3.64 billion from $3.61 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $3.57 billion.
The company expects Q1 EPS of $1.63 to $1.68 on revenue of $2.4 billion to $2.43 billion. Analysts project EPS of $2.07 on revenue of $2.48 billion.
The company expects full-year EPS of $12.10 to $12.30 on revenue of $11.35 billion to $11.5 billion. Analysts project EPS of $12.51 on revenue of $11.5 billion.
Chip Bergh, former CEO of Levi Strauss (LEVI), was appointed to lululemon's board effective immediately.
Lululemon shares fell 1,5% in after-hours trading.
